We have all been so shocked at Philippa's sudden death and still can't really believe it is true. We send our love and support to Roger, Pete, Judy, Tennessee, Joey, Luci, Tiger- Mae, Sunny and Wren. We remember how welcome Philippa would make us feel whenever we visited and her sense of fun, especially with children. She always seemed to have time, energy and imagination to give. Firstly as a mum when raising Luci and then more recently as a grandma when spending time with Tiger- Mae, Sunny and Wren. Our own children remember how she would involve them in little games and adventures. One Easter she put together a fabulous egg hunt in Stafford Road's back garden with elaborate clues and little prizes, which the children still remember today. She introduced them to a funny song once on the internet called Dr Worm, which the kids played repeatedly and which got stuck in our brains for weeks! Our children always enjoyed visiting Stafford Road which they refer to as the 'upside down house'! It will be extremely sad to return there this weekend without Philippa in residence.
